Production Planner at Ranco Fertiservice Inc – Sioux Rapids, Iowa

The Production Planner plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors the flow of products through the complete production cycle. Provides timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing job orders to the manufacturing floor in order to achieve both internal schedules and customer delivery dates. This is a fast paced and visible position that will require the ability to adjust on the fly and deal with constant change.

• Utilize Infor Cloudsuite Industrial (CSI)/Syteline Enterprise Resource Planner (ERP) to manage the production work flow
• Review ERP planning workbench, releasing jobs to the shop to support internal and external due dates
• Coordinate with the Plant Manager and Shop Foreman on the production schedule and release of jobs, expediting jobs as required
• Generate manufacturing job orders, pick lists, and print drawing packets for the shop
• Process job material transactions within CSI
• Create and modify job Bills of Manufacturing (BOMs) as needed to expedite flow through the shop
• Coordinate with engineering on any required changes to standard BOMs
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Knowledge of manufacturing techniques; prior manufacturing production experience not required but is beneficial
