About This Position

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Business Development Manager will serve as the face of the brand in Austin. This individual will be responsible for cultivating meaningful relationships within the luxury home building ecosystem, identifying high-value opportunities, and building strategic partnerships that generate new business. The ideal candidate is a natural connector — someone who thrives in social settings, understands the nuances of Austin’s luxury market, and knows how to turn conversations into long-term relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow the Austin market
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local architects, interior designers, luxury real estate agents, developers, and other industry influencers
  • Identify and attend relevant industry events, charity galas, design showcases, and networking functions within Austin’s luxury scene
  • Proactively create opportunities for brand visibility and positioning within the high-end residential and boutique hospitality market
  • Partner with the marketing team to secure features in relevant publications and platforms such as Tribeza and Austin Home as needed
  • Track and manage prospects, referral partners, and opportunities through organized internal systems and processes
  • Implement and refine systems for pipeline management and follow-up
  • Provide ongoing market insights and feedback to leadership regarding trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning
  • Represent the brand with professionalism, confidence, and alignment to company values

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or relationship-driven roles (experience in luxury industries preferred)
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated, driven, and proactive
  • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically
  • Experience implementing or managing CRM or lead tracking systems
  • Polished, professional presence with the ability to represent a high-end brand
