Florida Pain Physicians is seeking a dependable, patient-focused Medical Receptionist / Front Desk Coordinator to support our interventional pain management clinic in Jacksonville - Hodges.

This role requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment while delivering a welcoming and compassionate patient experience. Experience with eClinicalWorks (ECW) is strongly preferred, and prior experience in pain management or a specialty medical practice is a plus.

You will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and professional experience from check-in through check-out.

• Greet and check in patients in a professional, welcoming, and compassionate manner
• Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars using eClinicalWorks
• Verify insurance eligibility, collect co-pays, and maintain accurate patient records
• Answer phones, route calls appropriately, and respond to patient inquiries
• Coordinate with clinical staff to support smooth daily clinic operations
• Maintain strict confidentiality and full HIPAA compliance at all times
• Assist with general administrative tasks to support overall practice efficiency

Qualifications

• Prior medical front desk or medical receptionist experience required
• eClinicalWorks (ECW) experience strongly preferred
• Pain management or specialty clinic experience is a plus
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Dependable transportation required
• Ability to pass background check and verify positive prior employment
