About This Position
POSITION SUMMARY
The Wellness Coach supports employee health and well-being by delivering fitness programming, wellness education, and engagement activities at the local site. This role works directly with employees to encourage healthy habits, promote participation in wellness initiatives, and create an inclusive and motivating wellness environment. The Wellness Coach reports to the Workplace Wellness Lead and DFW site, HR Manager, to support company wellness programs, fitness activities, and employee engagement initiatives.
LOCATION
On-site in Fort Worth, TX
RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead individual and small group fitness sessions aligned with available gym equipment and wellness programming.
Provide guidance on safe exercise techniques, strength training, mobility, and general fitness improvement.
Encourage employees to participate in wellness programs, fitness activities, and health initiatives.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment that supports employees at all fitness levels.
Provide general education on healthy lifestyle habits, including fitness, mobility, recovery, and basic nutrition awareness.
Support workshops, seminars, or wellness events focused on employee wellbeing.
Help employees understand how fitness and lifestyle habits support overall health.
Create wellness initiatives for the location and partner with the Workplace Wellness Lead.
Assist with site-level wellness campaigns, events, and health promotion activities.
Promote participation in company wellness programs and annual health screenings.
Utilize booking or scheduling tools to coordinate coaching sessions with employees.
Maintain records of participation and employee engagement in wellness activities.
Communicate with HR and site leadership regarding wellness programming and participation trends.
Partner with HR and safety teams to support workplace wellbeing initiatives.
Assist with wellness-related onboarding or employee engagement activities.
Support a workplace culture that values health, safety, and well-being.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST HAVE
-
Certified Personal Trainer or equivalent fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, etc.)
Experience leading individual and group fitness training sessions
Experience working with individuals across different fitness levels
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to motivate and engage employees in wellness activities
Passion for health, fitness, and helping others improve their wellbeing
Ability to adapt coaching approaches to accommodate different physical abilities and limitations
NICE TO HAVE

Experience working in corporate wellness or workplace fitness programs
Experience facilitating wellness workshops or group education sessions
CPR / AED certification
Familiarity with scheduling or fitness management apps
