Title: Bindery Feeder Packer

Reports to: Bindery Supervisor

Scope of Position:

The Bindery Feeder/Packer is responsible for inspecting and loading flat die cut pieces into machines or inspecting and packing folded and glued pieces into cartons per job instructions.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Feeding:
  • Move die cut material skids into correct machine position using pump jack
  • Confirm correct job material is at feed end of machine
  • Stage lifts of material onto table for pre inspection prior to loading
  • Fan and visually inspect flat die cut pieces prior to placing into feed hopper
  • Keep work areas clean and neat
  • Perform any other duties as requested
• Packing:
  • Visually inspect finished pieces for quality and pack in cartons per job instructions
  • Assist with line clearances
  • Keep work areas clean and neat
  • Perform any other duties as requested

Qualifications:

Required

• At least 3 years of experience Folding, Stitching, and Perfect Binding
