Identity Architect – Saviynt IGA at Simeio – Bengaluru

About the Role
The Saviynt Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale identity governance solutions on the Saviynt platform. This role involves architecture development, solution delivery, customization, integration, governance, and ensuring that IAM capabilities meet security, compliance, and operational standards. The architect works closely with clients, internal teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and optimized IGA solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and design scalable and secure Saviynt IGA solutions.
• Develop high‑level and detailed architecture diagrams covering workflows, connectors, integrations, policies, roles, and access models.
• Lead implementation and configuration of Saviynt components including connectors, request workflows, analytics, certifications, roles, and fine-grained entitlements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during implementation and post‑deployment support.
• Integrate Saviynt with identity sources, applications, databases, cloud services, and target systems.
• Develop custom workflows, rules, tasks, and extensions using scripting and APIs to meet unique business requirements.
• Ensure IAM controls, security standards, and regulatory compliance (SOX, GDPR, etc.) are followed in all design and implementation work.
• Support development and enforcement of identity lifecycle processes and access governance frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and mentorship to junior engineers and cross‑functional teams.
• Stay current with market trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in IGA and IAM.
• Document solution architecture, design decisions, implementation details, and operational procedures.
• Provide regular updates, progress reports, and client‑facing technical documentation.
• Engage with clients to understand business needs, provide recommendations, and communicate proposed solutions effectively.

What You Bring

• 7+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management, with strong hands‑on experience specifically in Saviynt IGA.
• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise‑grade Saviynt IGA implementations.
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts including RBAC, ABAC, provisioning, access reviews, and identity lifecycle management.
• Hands‑on expertise with IAM standards and protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, RBAC, and PKI.
• Proficiency in scripting or development languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience integrating Saviynt with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or other SaaS applications.
• Familiarity with security frameworks, access control principles, and compliance requirements.
• Experience leading technical teams, providing mentorship, and driving complex implementations to completion.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certifications such as Saviynt Certified Engineer, CISSP, CISM, or related IAM certifications are a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with multiple IGA/IAM products besides Saviynt (SailPoint, Okta, Azure AD, etc.).
• Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
• Experience implementing Governance Analytics, AI-driven access insights, or risk-based identity controls.
