Holiday Mechanical AC Services is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager with estimating experience to oversee commercial and residential HVAC projects from initial bid through project completion.

This role combines project management and pre-construction estimating, requiring someone who can accurately price jobs while coordinating field operations, managing schedules, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has strong HVAC knowledge, understands system design and installation, and can confidently estimate equipment, materials, ductwork, and labor while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management & Execution

  • Manage HVAC projects from contract award through final completion

  • Coordinate technicians, subcontractors, suppliers, and contractors

  • Schedule manpower, equipment deliveries, and installation phases

  • Monitor project timelines to ensure work stays on schedule and within budget

  • Conduct site visits to verify installation progress and quality

  • Communicate with customers, builders, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

• Estimating & Pre-Construction

  • Prepare HVAC estimates for commercial and residential projects

  • Review mechanical plans, blueprints, and project specifications

  • Perform detailed material takeoffs and labor calculations

  • Price equipment, ductwork, and installation costs

  • Work with vendors and manufacturers to obtain competitive pricing

  • Prepare proposals, bid documents, and scopes of work

• Financial Management & Job Costing

  • Track project costs including labor, materials, and equipment

  • Monitor project profitability and adjust plans when necessary

  • Assist with change orders and cost adjustments

  • Work with accounting to ensure accurate job costing and financial reporting

• Project Coordination

  • Order equipment and materials required for project execution

  • Coordinate inspections, permits, and regulatory requirements

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes

  • Support field technicians and troubleshoot installation challenges

Qualifications

• Experience

  • 5+ years of HVAC industry experience

  • Experience in both HVAC project management and estimating

  • Proven experience managing commercial and residential HVAC projects

• Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, ductwork, and installation practices

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans, blueprints, and specifications

  • Experience performing material takeoffs and labor estimates

  • Familiarity with estimating software and project management tools preferred

• Professional Skills

  • Strong organization and scheduling abilities

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
