Our three (3) specialized factories in Heidemann Industrial Park design and build the transformers that power homes, schools, hospitals, and businesses across the region. This role would primarily work in improving processes at our Specialty Transformers (ST) site.
Through our partnership with Ameren Missouri, WTU has supplied key transformer units for Smart Energy Plan projects that are modernizing the grid and improving reliability for thousands of customers. One of our transformers now supports a new substation just south of Washington, helping deliver more reliable power to over 2,700 homes and businesses & expected to enhance service reliability for 14,000+ customers in Franklin County, Missouri.

What You’ll Do
As a Process Analyst, you’ll play a key role in improving how we work. You’ll collaborate with production teams to assess current workflows, develop standardized procedures, and implement sustainable improvements that blend WEG’s world-class practices with a deep understanding of our local operations
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, and training manuals
• Conduct process assessments and gather feedback from team members
• Create training materials for specific production roles
• Support supervisors and trainers in daily operations
• Lead cross-functional meetings to promote innovation and efficiency
• Collaborate with Quality, Industrial Engineering, and Production Management

Requirements:Basic
- Ability to work independently and meet goals and objectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing roles, workflows, and processes.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong interviewing and collaboration abilities.
- Must complete the full hiring process: application, talent assessment, interview, drug screen (including THC), and background check.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Washington, MO.
Preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering, or related field.
- Two or more years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in team settings.
- Hands-on experience improving workflows or production efficiency.
- Knowledge of transformer manufacturing.
