About the role:
The Inventory Coordinator supports daily inventory operations to ensure materials are accurate, properly stored, and readily available to meet production and service requirements. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through routine cycle counts, system transactions, and location control. Execute picking, staging, and fulfillment of parts in a timely and accurate manner to support production schedules and service requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and transaction discipline
- Ensure all material are properly labeled, binned and location-controlled
- Execute accurate picking for production jobs and service orders
- Stage and verify materials for production jobs and service orders
- Fulfill service parts requests with speed and accuracy
- Communicate shortages, discrepancies, and delays to appropriate teams
- Ensure all inventory movements are accurately recorded in ERP
- Maintain organized and efficient storage and staging areas
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in inventory control and warehouse operations, or materials handling, preferably in manufacturing environment
- Experience with ERP systems, inventory transactions, and material tracking processes
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate inventory records and verify quantities, part numbers, and locations
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage materials, maintain orderly storage, and support efficient material flow
Physical Requirements:
- Sit and/or stand for extended periods (typically 6–8 hours per day) while performing computer-based tasks and facility support activities
- Use hands and fingers to operate standard office equipment including computers, keyboards, telephones, and other devices
- Occasionally stand, walk, bend, stoop, or reach to access equipment or attend meetings.
- Lift, carry, push, or pull light objects weighing up to 20–25 pounds
- Have sufficient vision (with or without correction) to read computer screens, printed documents, and technical drawings; and sufficient hearing to communicate effectively by phone and in person. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Work in a typical indoor office or data center support environment with moderate noise levels
