Director, FP&A, Employer Solutions

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director, FP&A, Employer Solutions in United States.

This is a high-visibility leadership role driving the financial strategy and operational rigor for a fast-growing employer solutions business. The Director will own the financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the employer-facing vertical, translating complex data into actionable insights for executive decision-making. This role partners across corporate, clinical, and health plan FP&A teams to ensure integrated, accurate forecasts and performance management. You will lead a talented finance team, implement scalable systems, and provide strategic guidance on pricing, margin, and investment decisions. The position offers the opportunity to shape financial strategy, support growth initiatives, and influence outcomes across multiple business units in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Accountabilities
  • Serve as the primary financial advisor to the Employer Solutions leadership team, ensuring pricing, deal structures, and margin targets are optimized and aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Integrate Employer Solutions financial performance with other FP&A teams to maintain cohesive cost-to-serve models and unified revenue forecasts.
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles, providing detailed variance analysis and scenario modeling to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and monitor vertical-specific KPIs, including CAC, LTV, and gross margin by segment, to identify risks and opportunities early.
  • Drive operational efficiency by analyzing cost structures and implementing improvements to support business performance.
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing FP&A team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and strategic financial partnership.
  • Implement AI-driven tools and automated reporting to increase forecast accuracy, eliminate manual processes, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Support M&A and business development activities with financial modeling, integration planning, and due diligence for new employer-facing capabilities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a quantitative field; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate finance, including prior experience as a Business Unit Finance Lead in high-growth SaaS or healthcare organizations.
  • Proven ability to collaborate in a matrixed organization and influence stakeholders across multiple finance and operations teams.
  • Expert-level financial modeling skills and experience with modern FP&A systems (e.g., Pigment, Anaplan, NetSuite).
  • 5+ years managing high-performing finance teams, with a track record of developing future leaders.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance executives.
  • Strategic mindset with operational rigor and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary range: $168,000 – $231,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
  • Fully remote position with flexibility.
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage including medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life, and disability insurance.
  • Equity in the company through discretionary restricted stock units.
  • Generous time off policies, including vacation, sick days, paid parental leave, and company holidays.
  • 401(k) retirement benefits with company match.
  • Monthly technology allowance.
  • Well-being perks, coaching, therapy services, community activities, and employee engagement initiatives.
