Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year (based on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer for a direct hire opportunity focused on designing advanced power protection systems. This role offers long-term career growth, hands-on engineering work, and the chance to contribute to innovative product development.

• Design electrical systems at the product level, including component selection, thermal considerations, and interconnection hardware
• Apply knowledge of analog and digital circuits, magnetics, and thermal design principles
• Develop technical documentation such as specifications, schematics, and bills of materials
• Design power and control circuits for switchboards
• Support integration of third-party components into power distribution systems
• Participate in hardware design reviews to ensure reliability and performance
• Provide ongoing engineering support for both new and existing products
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting of systems and subassemblies
• Assist with product compliance and safety certifications, including UL, CSA, and IEC standards

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
• Experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD design software

• Familiarity with electrical engineering test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and network analyzers
• Experience working with three-phase power systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Hands-on laboratory experience and solid troubleshooting capabilities
