Position Overview

The Warehouse Associate supports day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring materials and products are accurately received, stored, and shipped. This role plays a critical part in maintaining efficient order fulfillment, contributing to operational reliability, and supporting customer satisfaction through timely and accurate deliveries. Primary Responsibilities
  • Receive and process incoming stock, including unloading, inspection, and documentation
  • Store materials in designated warehouse locations, maintaining order and accessibility
  • Pick, pack, wrap, label, and prepare customer orders for delivery or shipment according to schedule
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in a safe and effective manner
  • Perform inventory controls, cycle counts, and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, optimizing space utilization
  • Report discrepancies, damaged goods, or safety concerns promptly
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Requirements:

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with warehouse practices, methods, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems, databases, or inventory software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
  • Valid forklift license or ability to obtain certification within designated timeframe.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Experience working in a fast-paced distribution or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with Lean or 5S practices for warehouse organization and efficiency.
  • Knowledge of ERP or advanced warehouse management systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Experience with international shipping and customs documentation.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs.
