This role is a remote-based leadership position responsible for driving sales growth, market penetration, and dealer engagement across an assigned region. You will oversee both short-term operational initiatives and long-term strategic plans for dealer accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for resolving escalated issues and optimizing regional performance. The position requires coaching and coordinating the field team to ensure alignment on sales priorities and dealer strategies. You will collaborate closely with marketing to execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and initiatives to increase brand visibility. This role emphasizes relationship building, pipeline management, and proactive problem-solving to enhance dealer loyalty, market share, and profitability. Success comes from combining strategic oversight with hands-on engagement in the field.
- Drive sales performance, profit, market share, and dealer loyalty within the assigned region
- Build trusted relationships with dealers, acting as a consultant and advisor to influence strategic direction
- Lead and coordinate the field team’s activities to ensure consistent execution of sales strategies
- Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, product launches, and regional promotions
- Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs), provide sales updates, and facilitate dealer communications
- Attend and present at meetings, field days, farm shows, and other marketing events
- Monitor competitive activity, analyze dealer metrics, and provide recommendations for product development
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Agriculture, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of sales management experience with a proven track record of growing sales and managing distributor relationships
- Deep understanding of the agricultural market and its dynamics; farm experience preferred
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve conflicts strategically
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and Salesforce preferred
- Excellent communication skills, able to interact effectively with all levels of management, dealers, and end-users
- Ability to create trusted business relationships and act as a consultant to dealers to drive improvement
