Your Role
We are seeking a hands-on Production Lead to oversee contract manufacturing partners (CMs), manage inventory, and support day-to-day production operations. This role is responsible for ensuring product availability, maintaining strong CM relationships, and driving production quality and efficiency.
This is a working lead role with direct oversight of a small internal production team, ideal for someone who enjoys being on the floor, improving processes, and coaching others while driving accountability and results.
This is a hybrid role: minimum 2 days onsite in Richardson, TX; additional onsite time as needed based on production demands
What You’ll Get Done
Contract Manufacturer (CM) Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for contract manufacturing partners Coordinate production schedules, forecasts, and order fulfillment with CMs Monitor CM performance, quality, and delivery timelines Resolve production issues and ensure alignment with ENTOUCH standardsInventory & Materials Management
Own inventory levels of components and finished goods across internal and CM locations Ensure materials availability to meet production and customer demand Coordinate purchasing, shipping, receiving, and logistics activities Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP systemsProduction & Assembly (Internal)
Support and oversee internal assembly to meet daily and weekly production targets Ensure adherence to operating procedures and safety standards Maintain high-quality output and proactively identify issuesOperations & Process Improvement
Monitor workflows across internal and CM production to improve efficiency Maintain organization of materials and finished goods Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiativesQuality & Reporting
Monitor quality standards across internal production and CMs Investigate and resolve defects or inconsistencies Accurately record manufacturing and inventory activity Provide regular updates on production status, CM performance, and inventory levelsTeam Leadership
Train and onboard new team members Coach and support team performance and development Communicate production challenges and solutions to leadershipWhat You Bring
2–4 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or supply chain operations Experience working with contract manufacturers or external vendors strongly preferred Strong background in inventory management, logistics, and materials planning Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems Demonstrated ability to manage production workflows and meet targets Experience leading, training, or mentoring others Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to troubleshoot issues and identify root causes Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong communication skills and ability to lead by example Experience driving process improvements and operational efficiencyPhysical Requirements
