About This Position

Description:

The Warehouse Administrator is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations through accurate record-keeping, inventory coordination, and administrative support. This role ensures efficient documentation, inventory accuracy, timely reporting, and effective communication between warehouse staff, customer service and sales teams, and management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

· Maintain accurate inventory records and update warehouse management systems (WMS)

· Process inbound and outbound shipment documentation (receiving reports, delivery notes, invoices, bills of lading)

· Coordinate with Warehouse Supervisors and Managers to track stock movements and resolve discrepancies

· Generate and distribute inventory, shipping, and performance reports

· Act as a liaison between suppliers, internal customers, and warehouse staff

· Schedule deliveries and coordinate with transportation providers

· Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

· Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical) for warehouse documentation

· Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding inventory and shipments

· Assist in monitoring warehouse supplies and placing orders when required

Required Skills

· Strong organizational and time-management skills

· High attention to detail and accuracy

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, Outlook)

· Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP systems

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

· Problem-solving and analytical skills

· Ability to safely lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs

· Basic understanding of inventory control principles

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Required Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field preferred)

· 1-3 years of experience in warehouse administration, logistics, or a similar role

· Experience in inventory management and data entry

· Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures

· Familiarity with basic accounting or purchasing processes (preferred)

· OSHA Forklift Certification
