Purpose:
Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the Programmer/Analyst will assist the Information Technology Services department in their daily operations.
Summary of the position:
We are seeking an entry level Programmer/Analyst to support development and
analytics work across our React/C# web applications and our Power BI/Microsoft Fabric
environment. This role is ideal for a recent graduate who learns quickly, works
independently, and is eager to grow into fullstack and datafocused responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of React and C#/.NET applications
- Support Power BI report development, dataset management, and Fabric dataflows
- Help build and maintain data pipelines across enterprise applications
- Document work, follow development standards, and collaborate with other stakeholders.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong foundational programming and problem solving skills
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, SQL, or Power BI is helpful but not
required
- Learns new systems, modules, and vendor tools quickly (including working from
limited documentation) and applies that learning to real campus use cases
- Balances priorities across projects and support requests while meeting deadlines
and service expectations
- Takes a service-oriented approach, translating office workflows into practical
system configurations, reports, and integrations
- Helps departments clarify requirements, understands downstream impacts, and
recommends workable options
- Communicates clearly and professionally with technical and non-technical
stakeholders
- Improves processes for change management, documentation, data quality, and
support—identifying opportunities to simplify and standardize
- Works effectively within institutional policies and controls (e.g., data governance,
audit requirements, FERPA) and escalates risk appropriately
- Troubleshoots production issues calmly and methodically, coordinating across
teams as needed
- Builds effective working relationships with Registrar, Financial Aid, Business
Office, Admissions, Institutional Research, and other offices
