Bison Drywall Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Construction Administrative Assistant to support our growing residential and commercial operations.
This role serves as the administrative backbone of our field and project management teamsensuring purchase orders, change orders, subcontractor documentation, and internal workflows are executed with precision. As we scale toward a $10M+ operation, this position plays a critical role in keeping projects running smoothly and efficiently behind the scenes.

- Project & Financial Support
Manage the full lifecycle of purchase orders to ensure timely material procurement
Process and track change orders with accuracy to maintain financial clarity
Assist with job cost tracking and documentation accuracy
- Subcontractor & Documentation Management
Coordinate subcontractor contracts, ensuring compliance, signatures, and proper documentation
Maintain organized digital filing systems for all project-related records
Ensure documents are audit-ready and easily accessible
- Administrative Operations
Utilize Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) to generate reports, spreadsheets, and communications
Support project managers with administrative tasks and workflow coordination
Identify inefficiencies and help streamline internal processes
- Team & Communication Support
Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure alignment on project needs
Assist in maintaining smooth day-to-day office and project operations
Support company growth initiatives through strong organizational execution
- Required:
Minimum 5 years of administrative experience (construction industry strongly preferred)
Experience managing purchase orders and change order documentation
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word required)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Preferred:
Associate Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
Experience in drywall or specialty trade construction environments
Familiarity with construction management or accounting software
$25.00 $30.00 per hour, based on experience
