This role sits at the intersection of cloud architecture, managed services delivery, and client advisory leadership within a fast-paced consulting environment. You will act as a senior technical authority across multiple Azure-focused client engagements, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with both delivery and business expectations. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help shape architecture decisions, unblock delivery challenges, and elevate technical consistency across projects. The position blends hands-on technical oversight with strategic influence, including participation in presales alignment and solution design governance. You will also serve as a mentor and coach, helping strengthen team capabilities while fostering collaboration across internal practices, clients, and partners. This is a high-impact role where your expertise directly shapes service quality, delivery success, and long-term client relationships.

Accountabilities
  • Provide architectural leadership across managed services engagements, ensuring consistent delivery quality, technical alignment, and client satisfaction.
  • Partner with managed services leadership to coordinate service delivery functions and improve cross-service collaboration.
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert supporting presales teams to align solution design with delivery capabilities and expectations.
  • Participate in architectural governance discussions, offering guidance on complex Azure-based solutions and delivery approaches.
  • Coach and mentor engineers and delivery teams in a player-coach capacity, supporting upskilling and technical growth.
  • Help resolve delivery blockers and support project execution to maintain engagement momentum and billable targets.
  • Facilitate change management processes, including scope adjustments and project extensions in collaboration with solution architects.
  • Drive alignment across cloud practices, ensuring cohesive architecture across multiple technology domains and client environments.
Requirements

This role requires deep cloud architecture expertise combined with strong consulting, leadership, and delivery oversight experience. You should be comfortable operating across multiple teams and client environments while balancing technical depth with strategic influence.

  • 7+ years of experience in technology roles spanning engineering, cloud operations, or technical consulting.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure, including compute, networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.
  • Experience designing and deploying infrastructure using Azure Portal and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, scripting languages, and automation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Azure governance tools such as cost management, policy, security center, and monitoring/log analytics.
  • Proven ability to lead technical delivery across multiple client engagements in a consulting or managed services model.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex cloud environments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in distributed, virtual-first teams.
