We are seeking a skilled and dependable Floor Installer to join our team. The Floor Installer will be responsible for preparing, measuring, cutting, and installing a variety of flooring materials in residential settings. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with flooring installation, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality results on time.
Key Responsibilities
• Measure and prepare surfaces for flooring installation.
• Install flooring materials such as hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tile.
• Cut, fit, and align flooring materials with precision.
• Apply adhesives, grout, or sealants as needed for proper installation.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and cutting equipment safely and effectively.
• Inspect finished work to ensure alignment, smoothness, and overall quality.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Communicate with supervisors, and team members to ensure satisfaction and timely completion.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Floor Installer or in a similar trade.
• Knowledge of different flooring materials, techniques, and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret measurements, layouts, and instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with residential flooring projects.
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
