Position Summary

The Facilities Worker is responsible for supporting the day-to-day maintenance, cleanliness, and functionality of the Robbinsville facility. This role ensures a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment across production, warehouse, and office areas within a fast-paced printing and manufacturing operation.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and general repairs (e.g., minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry)
• Support facility upkeep including cleaning, painting, and basic equipment repairs
• Assist with preventative maintenance tasks for building systems and equipment
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of production floors, common areas, and exterior grounds
• Assist with waste removal, recycling, and material handling
• Support setup and breakdown of equipment, workspaces, and company events as needed
• Monitor facility conditions and report safety hazards or repair needs
• Operate basic tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned to support facility and production operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–3 years of facilities, maintenance, or industrial experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely
• Forklift experience is a plus (or willingness to be trained)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Exposure to a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and moving machinery
• May require off-shift, weekend, or on-call availability to support production needs
