This role is responsible for leading and scaling the software engineering organization that supports Life and MultiLife product capabilities, ensuring high-quality delivery across the full product lifecycle. The Director will provide strategic and technical leadership, guiding teams to develop innovative, reliable, and scalable solutions aligned with business objectives. Acting as a trusted partner to product owners and stakeholders, this leader will mentor staff, foster a culture of innovation, and drive operational excellence. The position emphasizes hands-on engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and leveraging modern technologies, including AI tools, to enhance software development and decision-making. - Lead and manage a diverse team of software engineers, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and professional development.
- Provide technical direction and strategic leadership, establishing clear objectives, goals, and priorities aligned with corporate initiatives.
- Drive development and delivery of high-quality software solutions, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with product management, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and allocate resources efficiently.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and knowledge sharing across engineering teams.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of professional software development experience with a strong track record of delivering robust solutions.
- Proven leadership experience managing large engineering teams, with success in mentoring and developing talent.
- Strong technical expertise in software development, including proficiency in multiple programming languages and modern technologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to drive technical innovation, foster a culture of excellence, and achieve business objectives.
- Experience with agile methodologies, project management tools, and modern software development practices.
