Friday Services is hiring a Facility Maintenance Tech for our client in South Asheville.
Job Position:Facility Maintenance Technician
Location: Asheville, NC 28803
Pay Rate: $20 -$23/hr DOE
Shift: 8am- 5pm
Reporting directly to the Community Manager, this position will have a unique opportunity to channel their knowledge, skills, ambition, and experience in a meaningful way that directly impacts the lives of our residents.
What you'll do:
Perform general maintenance duties including appliance repair, plumping, electrical, and painting
Ensuring that the physical aspects of the assigned properties meet quality standards and applicable laws
Responsibility for the maintenance, upkeep, and repair of the electrical and mechanical systems, appliances, buildings, and groundsEmptying trash and dog stations, cleaning common areas, all aspects involved in turning apartments
Obtaining work orders from the Community Manager, prioritize and assign work, complete work orders
Responding to maintenance requests and resolving maintenance issues promptly
Attending staff meetings to discuss work orders, budget compliance, ongoing vacancies, move-in/move-outs as needed
Purchase all needed supplies and materials within budgetary constraints
