Billing Support Representative at Comfort Keepers - Lubbock – Lubbock, Texas

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to manage our billing and accounts receivable processes. This role is critical in ensuring accurate invoicing for a diverse client base, including Long-Term Care (LTC) insurance, Veterans Affairs (VA), and Private Pay clients. The ideal candidate is a QuickBooks expert who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to master our proprietary scheduling and billing software.

Key Responsibilities

• Specialized Invoicing: Generate and submit accurate invoices for LTC insurance providers, VA programs, and private pay clients.
• A/R Management: Oversee the accounts receivable cycle, including tracking aging reports, and following up on delinquent accounts
• Software Integration: Utilize QuickBooks for financial recording while mastering our internal scheduling and billing system (VIV) to ensure data synchronization.
• Billing Support: Act as the primary support for the Billing Specialist to ensure all weekly and monthly billing deadlines are met.
• Clerical Duties: Perform general administrative tasks, including digital filing, data entry, and responding to client billing inquiries.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum [3-5] years of dedicated experience in Accounts Receivable and billing.
• Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience with QuickBooks is required. Must be tech-savvy and capable of quickly learning new software systems.
• Industry Knowledge: Prior experience billing for LTC insurance or VA benefits is highly preferred.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in data entry and a "get it right the first time" mentality.
• Communication: Strong professional verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and insurance adjusters.
