Resident Services Director - FT shift at Presbyterian Manors of Mid America – Colorado Springs, Colorado

Job Information: Reporting to the Executive Director, this position is responsible for monitoring, assessing and developing strategies to provide for the physical, psychological, and social needs of the Independent Living residents. The incumbent is accountable for creating and sustaining an open and trusting environment that motivates residents to make healthy adjustments to living at Aberdeen Ridge through their participation in activities and social events. Works closely with residents, family members and internal staff to address existing and future needs of residents. Informal counseling is provided through this position. Manages the area of Resident Emergency Communication (Arial System). Monitors residents in regard to changes in their health status and medical needs and coordinates appropriate services in response.

Requirements: Bachelor's in Social Work or related field required. Master's in Social Work preferred. Minimum of two (2) years' experience with senior living or seniors a plus. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability in problem solving, strong customer service/hospitality, working within a team focused environment, commitment to excellence and achieving high quality results are necessary. Must be proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
