Technical Program Manager, Field Services

Reports to: Senior Director – Field Services

Supervisory Responsibility: None

Summary Objective

Manage and/or support resolution of small to medium complexity Installation, Cx, and Parts Services technical and process Issues. Track trends and make recommendations for Proposal Improvements

Essential Functions:

  • Facilitate and coordinate cross-functional site technical and materials issue resolution
  • Lead supplemental site issue resolution efforts; freeing site team to focus on production
  • Identify / track Install, Commissioning, and Parts Services improvement opportunities
  • Track recurring services delivery trends and report to services and business operations
  • Partner with the Services Operations Support Manager to optimize kick-off and mobilizations
  • Coordinate reviews and comment on services SOW, contracts, specs, and client documentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues that arise during the field services life cycle.
  • Support services project documentation so client deliverables comply with contract terms, T/Cs.
  • Provide other technical support functions identified by the head of field services

Work Environment

This job generally operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at fabrication shops and job sites. Job safety needs to always be considered the top priority.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. The first shift days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

Travel is primarily not required except for local travel during the business day. Additionally, some projects may require out-of-state, out-of-country, and overnight travel up to 20%.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or management related discipline
  • A minimum of 3 years of international experience in project and/or construction management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and enterprise resource planning

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Master’s degree in construction, engineering, or management related discipline
  • 5 years’ experience in the power, oil & gas, data center and / or district energy industries
  • Certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.

Work Authorization

Must be authorized to work in the USA.
