Health and Safety Manager

About Fullscript

At Fullscript, warehouse safety is not a policy on a wall. It is how work gets done every day.

Our warehouse facilities move products that healthcare providers and patients rely on. When safety systems work well, teams go home healthy, operations stay on track, and trust is protected. That takes clear standards, strong leadership, and practical execution on the floor.

We are building consistent, reliable safety practices across all warehouse facilities, and we need a leader who knows how to make safety real in fast-moving environments.

We are seeking a Health & Safety Manager to own and lead health and safety across Fullscripts warehouse facilities. This role sets expectations, supports site leaders, and turns safety data into action. You will spend time in the warehouses, partner with operations, and help teams prevent incidents before they happen. Your work will directly shape how safety shows up day to day.

Location

This role is ideally based near one of our warehouse facilities in Virginia, Kansas, or Arizona. Regular on-site presence is important, and travel between facilities will be required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve EHS programs across all warehouse locations
  • Monitor compliance with OSHA, provincial, and local health and safety regulations
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA 300 logs requirements
  • Define, track, and report safety KPIs; analyze trends and share insights with site leaders and operations leadership
  • Lead safety audits, inspections, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain safety training, onboarding, and compliance education for warehouse teams
  • Lead emergency preparedness, incident response, and business continuity planning for distribution operations
  • Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections
  • Partner closely with the Quality team on food safety, regulatory requirements, and shared audits
  • Act as the primary EHS advisor to site leaders, providing hands-on guidance and support
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and reinforce a proactive, practical safety culture across sites
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred
  • 58 years of EHS experience in distribution, fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics environments
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations or complex warehouse environments
  • Strong working knowledge of US and Canadian occupational health & safety regulations (OSHA, WSIB, etc.)
  • Proven experience leading audits, incident investigations, corrective actions, and compliance programs
  • Ability to operate independently and influence site leaders without direct authority
  • Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills
  • Experience building, scaling, or standardizing EHS programs across multiple locations preferred
  • Ability to travel as needed (US & Canada) is a must
  • Professional safety certification (CSP, CHSO, CRSP, or equivalent) preferred
  • Spanish language skills are a bonus
