Williams Concrete Accessories, a division of Williams Form Engineering, is looking to hire an individual to work in the warehouse in our Portland, OR location. We are looking for a dedicated employee who is willing to show initiative, dedication and is driven to succeed.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for quality control. Notify supervisor of changes as necessary to supply and deliver product within specifications.
- Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job safety analysis (JSAs).
- Operate forklift to maintain material supply for the sales staff and customers.
- Complete daily production and/or driving logs.
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections (PMs).
- Clean and maintain work area.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Lift and reposition up to 100-pound packages manually.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
Quality Focus, Power Controls and Instrumentation, Equipment Maintenance, Manufacturing Experience, Manufacturing Quality, Mechanical Inspection Tools, Safety Management, Tooling
- High School Diploma or GED, or 1-2 years related experience and/or training preferred
- Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
- US Citizen or Green Card holder
Working Conditions:
Working Conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 100-pounds unassisted. Will be required to stand, walk, bend, and twist for at least seven hours per day. Involves climbing up and down from truck trailers. Machinery operations require the use of safety equipment to include, but not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
