About This Position

2.54 Senior Product Manager

Field AI is transforming how robots interact with the real world. We are building risk-aware, reliable, and field-ready AI systems that address the most complex challenges in robotics, unlocking the full potential of embodied intelligence. We go beyond typical data-driven approaches or pure transformer-based architectures, and are charting a new course, with already-globally-deployed solutions delivering real-world results and rapidly improving models through real-field applications.

Were looking for a hands-on Product Manager to partner closely with Product Engineering to drive clarity, speed, and customer alignment across our product development efforts. This role is deeply execution-oriented and designed to reduce friction for engineering, not add process. You will work directly with engineering leads to translate customer needs, technical constraints, and business priorities into clear product direction, well-defined requirements, and fast, informed decisions.
What You Will Get To Do:
  • Define and own the authoritative product catalog, including products, versions, configurations, and exclusions
  • Drive product vision, roadmap, and lifecycle decisions independent of any single customer
  • Define supported use cases, boundaries, and explicit non-goals for your product area
  • Make cross-customer tradeoffs and prioritization decisions that maximize reuse and long-term scalability
  • Establish product-level acceptance criteria and validation expectations for customer missions
  • Serve as final authority on what is considered in scope vs out of scope for your product linePartner with engineering, robotics, AI, and platform teams to align feasibility with product intent
  • Prevent fragmentation, duplication, and customer-specific divergence across deployments
  • Provide product truth to Scope Qualification and Product Communication teams for enforcement and messaging
What You Bring:
  • 7+ years of experience in product management for complex technical products
  • Experience defining products that scale across customers without custom divergence
  • Strong judgment around scope, tradeoffs, and long-term product health
  • Ability to operate with authority in a matrixed, customer-centric organization
  • Proven ability to translate ambiguity into clear product definitions and constraints
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
What Will Set You Apart:
  • Experience with robotics, autonomy, AI, or field-deployed systems
  • Background working on safety-critical or operationally complex products
  • Experience defining product catalogs, configurations, and commercial boundaries
  • Comfort acting as the product immune system by saying no when necessary
  • Track record of protecting product integrity while enabling revenue and delivery at scale
Our salary range is generous and we take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary; base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
