Master Trades Group | Remote-Local to Tampa, Orlando, Cocoa Beach, FL or Louisville, KY

Compensation: $85,000-95,000 Annually

Travel: 25%

We’re looking for an Employee Relations professional who will support both field and corporate teams by strengthening manager capability and delivering consistent, high-quality employee relations support.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis to support investment decisions, capital allocation, and operational improvements. Manage accurate and timely investigation files, employee relations tracking, and required documentation.
  • Lead and actively coach managers on performance management, documentation, corrective action, and employee development.
  • Develop and conduct training for managers across topics including performance management, corrective action, and compliance.
  • Conduct thorough, unbiased internal investigations into employee complaints, misconduct allegations and policy violations.
  • Manage the company Concerns Hotline. Investigate, document, resolve and escalate concerns as necessary.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by building and maintaining high-trust partnerships with field and corporate managers, providing guidance on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns.
  • Partner with ADP and HR leadership on termination recommendations and support managers through termination processes, ensuring compliance with legal and internal requirements.
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies, employment laws, and internal procedures across all business units.
  • Support compliance initiatives including audits, documentation reviews, and employee relations reporting.
  • Identify trends and risks within assigned business units and collaborate with HR leadership on proactive solutions.
  • Partner with HR, Operations, and Legal on escalated issues and complex employee matters.
  • Ensure all HR actions and recommendations follow local, state, and federal employment laws (FMLA, ADA, EEO, wage & hour, etc.).
  • Travel to MTG branch locations as needed to support investigations, training, and on-site HR support.
  • Proactively lead engagement initiatives and internal events designed to foster a positive and high-performance work environment.

What We Are Looking For:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of HR experience with a strong emphasis on employee relations, performance management, and workplace investigations.
  • Experience in home services, skilled trades, retail, or similarly fast-paced, high-turnover environments.
  • Proven experience supporting multi-location operations and field-based workforces.

Technical & Compliance Knowledge:

  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience partnering with HR systems and vendors to support employee relations processes (ADP experience preferred).

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to travel to MTG locations approximately 25%.
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment while regularly engaging on-site for investigations and manager support.
