CDP Architect

This role provides a high-impact opportunity to architect and implement Customer Data Platform (CDP) solutions that enable clients to leverage their data for business growth and customer engagement. You will work closely with cross-functional teamsincluding data engineers, analysts, and digital marketersto design scalable, secure, and governed CDP implementations. The position involves translating business requirements into technical architectures, leading technical delivery, and ensuring alignment with compliance standards. You will drive innovation in data management, identity resolution, and activation workflows while guiding clients through the full lifecycle of CDP adoption. This role blends hands-on technical expertise with strategic consulting, offering exposure to cutting-edge marketing technologies and cloud-based infrastructures. You will also play a key part in mentoring teams and promoting best practices in data governance and information security.
Accountabilities
  • Architect and implement scalable CDP solutions tailored to client needs, focusing on data governance, security, and activation.
  • Assess and audit existing marketing technology stacks and data pipelines to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and design documentation.
  • Lead technical delivery and provide guidance to data engineering and cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure integration of data protection measures and compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teamsincluding data scientists, marketers, and consultantsto drive CDP adoption and value realization.
  • Promote information security awareness and enforce best practices for data management throughout the organization.

Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years architecting and building data pipelines; at least 3 years in an agency or consulting environment.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform RTCDP (schema creation, identity resolution, data ingestion, destination activation); familiarity with Adobe Tags/WebSDK; strong API knowledge; experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure); exposure to data warehouse solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery); knowledge of marketing automation and data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strong consulting and client-facing abilities; excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to guide technical teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or related field.
