Position: Project Engineer
Location/s: Richmond, VA
Duration: Full time, Direct Hire
Shift: Night Shift (Monday Thursday, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM)
Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 Annually

Your Role:
In this position, you will manage new product development from concept to execution, collaborating closely with our sales team and customers to deliver top-notch filtration solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
Applications Engineering:- Collaborate with sales and customers to gather application data and assess feasibility.
- Provide cost and lead time estimations for bids.
- Perform detailed analyses to ensure designs meet performance targets.
- Maintain engineering documentation per our AS9100-certified Quality Procedures.
- Produce detailed drawing packages, including customer approval and manufacturing drawings.
- Assist in creating work instructions and additional manufacturing procedures.
- Facilitate the transition of projects to procurement and production.
- Guide components through production to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Manage project timelines and devise qualification test plans.
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (other engineering degrees considered).
- 2+ year's of product design experience in an engineered-to-order environment (would consider internship experience)
- 3D modeling experience with Autocad Inventor or Solidworks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- A practical approach to engineering challenges and a high mechanical aptitude.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, and Autodesk Inventor/AutoCAD.
