This is a senior revenue-focused leadership role driving growth across the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector in Canada. The position is centered on building and expanding executive-level relationships, originating new consulting engagements, and closing high-value transformation deals. You will operate as a key market builder, shaping strategic opportunities across Tier 1 financial institutions while leveraging a strong industry network. The role combines hands-on business development, executive advisory engagement, and pursuit leadership in complex digital and operational transformation initiatives. You will collaborate closely with delivery and subject matter experts to convert opportunities into long-term client partnerships. Success in this role is defined by measurable revenue growth across new logos and existing accounts. It is a high-impact, autonomous position requiring strong commercial instinct and deep BFSI expertise.
- Own and drive revenue growth across the Canadian BFSI market, delivering against defined annual targets for new and existing clients.
- Originate, qualify, and close net-new advisory and consulting engagements within banking and insurance sectors.
- Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy focused on expanding market presence and building a strong qualified pipeline.
- Leverage executive relationships to access C-suite stakeholders and convert strategic conversations into business opportunities.
- Lead end-to-end pursuit activities, from opportunity qualification through proposal development and contract negotiation.
- Partner with internal experts to design tailored solutions aligned with client transformation priorities and commercial goals.
- Act as executive sponsor on key engagements, ensuring alignment between client expectations and delivery execution.
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and contribute to long-term account growth strategies.
- Support thought leadership and market positioning efforts for the BFSI practice.
- 15+ years of experience in the BFSI sector, with significant focus on business development, sales, or executive relationship management.
- Proven track record of originating and closing multi-million-dollar consulting or advisory engagements.
- Established executive network across Canadian Tier 1 banks, insurers, or major financial institutions.
- Strong experience selling digital transformation, cloud, operating model, sourcing strategy, or cost optimization services.
- Deep understanding of BFSI operating models, vendor ecosystems, and commercial structures.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-suite and board-level stakeholders.
- Strong proposal development, negotiation, and deal-closing capabilities.
- Experience in leading or supporting small to mid-sized teams in complex consulting environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex solutions for senior executives.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree considered a strong asset.
