Job Title: Dental Lab Technician
Hourly Rate: $21-$24 an hour (Non-Exempt)
Department: Full Arch Solutions +
Reports to: Fas+ CEO
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
Location: Riverside, Ca
Job Summary:
The Dental Lab Technician is responsible for supporting the fabrication and finishing of full-arch prosthetics within the Dental Lab. This role works closely with both laboratory and clinical teams to develop, refine, and continuously improve the GPS Full Arch process. Key responsibilities include finishing provisional and definitive prosthetics, manufacturing full-arch restorations, and assisting in all areas of fabrication needed. The position also serves as a lab machinist, ensuring proper operations, maintenance, and upkeep of laboratory equipment such as milling machines, 3D printers, ovens, and furnaces. This role requires technical skill, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset to support high-quality prosthetic outcomes.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Utilize workflow management software to track the flow of design and manufacturing of dental prosthetics.
Read prescriptions/orders and examine digital impressions, physical impressions, digital designs, physical prosthetics to determine the design of dental products to be fabricated.
Utilize software to nest prosthetic designs for efficient and accurate milling (subtractive manufacturing) and printing (additive manufacturing).
Load, run, and maintain milling machines and 3D printers for manufacturing of dental prosthetics.
Post-process, clean, stain, and prepare milled prosthetics for sintering and printed prosthetics for curing.
Shape resin, acrylic, and zirconia teeth, using hand and rotary instruments and information from observations and/or dentists' specifications.
Load, run, and maintain sintering ovens for the manufacture of dental prosthetics.
Test appliances for quality assurance and conformance to specifications and accuracy of fabrication.
Fabricate, alter, or repair dental devices such as fixed dental prostheses or occlusal guards.
Remove excess ceramic and polish surfaces of prostheses, frameworks, occlusal guards and other devices.
Meet with dentists, assistants, and other co-workers to discuss cases.
Maintain accurate inventory and order parts or materials as needed.
Maintain accurate physical and digital tracking of cases and all files needed to fabricate prosthetics.
Actively participate in all meetings (Weekly, monthly, otherwise periodically scheduled).
Immediately and openly share information and ideas to continuously improve all FAS+ / Dental Implants GPS processes.
Maintain a single-piece workflow by focusing on the task at hand and minimizing delays or idle time.
Achieve and maintain lab re-work rate of less than 2%.
Participate in Research and Development initiatives, including testing materials, technologies, and techniques for temporary full-arch prosthetics, long-term provisionals, next-day finals, and definitive restorations.
Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.

High School diploma or equivalent
