This role is a key operational procurement position responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of materials and services within a manufacturing and supply chain environment. You will act as the main procurement contact for a specific site or cluster, coordinating daily interactions between factories, suppliers, sourcing teams, and internal business functions. The position plays a critical role in maintaining material availability, resolving supply issues, and supporting uninterrupted production activities. You will also contribute to the execution of regional and global sourcing initiatives at the local level. Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, you will manage multiple priorities while ensuring compliance with procurement processes and service-level expectations. This role requires strong stakeholder management, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to operational excellence.
- Serve as the primary procurement point of contact for a site, country, or cluster, ensuring smooth daily operations between procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, and suppliers.
- Manage the execution of daily purchasing activities, ensuring material availability and timely resolution of supply disruptions.
- Monitor procurement service levels and escalate operational risks or issues when necessary to maintain business continuity.
- Support and implement contingency and business continuity plans in case of supply chain disruptions.
- Coordinate and execute sourcing initiatives, spot buys, and contract-related procurement activities aligned with category strategies.
- Track procurement process compliance (source-to-pay) and implement corrective actions when required.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure alignment on demand, delivery, and quality expectations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across multiple functions.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and capability to act quickly under pressure.
- Strong customer and service orientation, with a focus on operational reliability and continuity.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
- Familiarity with procurement systems, processes, and source-to-pay compliance frameworks.
