We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented PRN Hospice Grant Writer to join our compassionate team. Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential grant opportunities relevant to hospice care and healthcare services
- Develop, write, and submit compelling grant proposals to secure funding
- Maintain and manage a calendar of grant deadlines and reporting requirements
- Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and financial teams to gather necessary information for grant applications
- Track and report on the progress and outcomes of submitted grants
- Ensure compliance with all grant guidelines and organizational policies
- Maintain relationships with funding agencies and foundations to support ongoing funding efforts
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in grant writing, preferably in healthcare or hospice settings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Knowledge of healthcare funding sources, including government and private grants
- Familiarity with hospice care services and regulations is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, communications, nonprofit management, or related field preferred
