About the Role

Horizon Services is seeking a highly capable Technical Business Analyst Reporting to drive improved visibility, reporting accuracy, and operational performance across our business.

In this role, you will identify fragmented reporting processes and manual workflows, and transform them into structured dashboards, automated reporting packs, and efficient business processes. You will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making across multiple operational workstreams, including

ensuring adherence to commercial reporting obligations with Horizon's commercial partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a central inventory of reports, dashboards, and trackers
  • Design and deliver KPI dashboards and monthly reporting packs
  • Improve visibility across workload, backlog, productivity, and service performance
  • Identify and implement workflow automation and process improvements
  • Translate business requirements into practical reporting solutions
  • Engage with operational teams to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency
  • Support data and reporting across projects, faults, vegetation, and operational workflows

About You

You are a practical, delivery-focused analyst who can simplify complexity and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions in a fast-paced operational environment.

You will bring:

  • 35 years' experience in Business Analysis, Reporting, or Performance Improvement
  • Experience utilising Power Platform (Power- BI, Automate, Apps, Query) and SharePoint
  • to deliver reporting outcomes.
  • Experience building complex dashboards and reporting packs
  • Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders and translate commercial/business requirements into technical solutions
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Desirable:

  • Experience with Power BI, Power Platform, or similar tools
  • Exposure to utilities, infrastructure, or asset-intensive industries
  • Basic SQL/Python, JSON, process automation, or scripting capability
