This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a SRE (Site Reliability Engineer): Engenheiro de Confiabilidade de Sites in Brazil.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of critical systems running in cloud environments. You will work closely with engineering teams to design and operate resilient infrastructure, mainly on AWS, contributing to architecture decisions and platform evolution. The position involves a strong focus on automation, observability, and incident response, ensuring high availability of distributed systems and microservices. You will help define and monitor SLOs, improve CI/CD pipelines, and strengthen infrastructure as code practices. This is a highly technical and collaborative environment where you will have autonomy to propose solutions and directly impact system stability, security, and efficiency.
You will contribute to building and maintaining reliable, scalable, and secure systems while driving automation and operational excellence:
- Support architecture design and implementation for AWS-based environments, including migrations and greenfield projects.
- Ensure system reliability and performance through monitoring, observability, and SLO definition using APM and synthetic monitoring tools.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Git and automation best practices.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Improve application delivery and security using CDN and WAF solutions.
- Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents, including participation in on-call rotations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system design, scalability, and operational maturity.
The ideal candidate has strong cloud, automation, and reliability engineering experience, combined with a proactive and collaborative mindset:
- Hands-on experience with AWS in migration or greenfield infrastructure projects.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools for performance and reliability tracking.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
- Solid experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code practices.
- Familiarity with Docker, web services, Linux/Windows systems, and programming languages.
- Understanding of CDN and WAF concepts for performance and security optimization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments.
