We are seeking an Inside Sales & Renewal Specialist Intern to join our team in Urbandale, IA. This is an onsite opportunity.
This internship provides hands-on experience supporting inside sales and renewal operations within a fast-paced technology environment. The role assists with quote preparation, renewal tracking, order coordination, and account support while collaborating with customers, vendors, and internal teams. The intern gains exposure to sales tools, Salesforce workflows, data accuracy, and end-to-end sales lifecycle activities, contributing to a team focused on responsiveness, precision, and customer service.
Functions/Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing and processing quotes for new business and renewals, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation in Salesforce and ConnectWise Sell.
- Support renewal operations by tracking upcoming maintenance and subscription expirations and helping maintain data in CloudCover.
- Maintain account records, opportunity notes, order details, and sales documentation to support forecasting, reporting, and data accuracy.
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, engineering, procurement) and external vendors to support customer requests, pricing inquiries, and issue resolution.
- Provide general sales operations support, including order tracking, billing follow-up, vendor communications, deal registration, and process improvement initiatives.
What you bring to the team:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word) for data tracking, documentation, and reporting
- Familiarity with CRM and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce) to support quotes, renewals, and account records

Education:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field, or a recent graduate.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
This position may be performed in either a standard office setting or a home office environment. It requires prolonged periods of sitting, frequent use of a computer and other office equipment, and effective time management in a self-directed work environment. Occasional lifting of items up to 25 pounds may be required.

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $20.00/hour depending on location, skills, experience, and other job-related factors. This role is also eligible for an annual performance-based bonus. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, experience, geographic location, and internal equity.
