- Lead the end-to-end engineering delivery of large-scale software solutions across multiple clients, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Drive modernization initiatives, product development, and technology transformation efforts with a focus on scalability, automation, and system efficiency.
- Partner closely with Product Management to shape roadmaps, prioritize features, and align engineering execution with business objectives.
- Oversee technical architecture decisions in collaboration with architects, promoting system reuse, configurability, and long-term maintainability.
- Manage and develop distributed engineering teams, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and career development.
- Establish engineering best practices, Agile methodologies, and continuous improvement frameworks across teams.
- Monitor and reduce technical debt while improving system reliability, performance, and defect prevention.
- Maintain financial accountability, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization across engineering initiatives.
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners to ensure cost-effective solutions and high-quality technology delivery.
- Engage with executive stakeholders to support strategic decisions and ensure successful program execution.
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong technical and product-oriented leadership background.
- Proven experience managing large, distributed engineering teams with direct hiring, coaching, and performance management responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of modern software development practices, architecture design, and scalable system delivery.
- Deep experience with Agile methodologies and enterprise-level software delivery frameworks.
- Ability to operate across multiple products, modules, and client environments simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in healthcare technology, public sector systems, or regulated environments is highly preferred.
- Strong financial management skills, including budget planning, forecasting, and cost control.
- Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change, foster innovation, and lead transformation initiatives.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Competitive annual salary ranging from $143,600 to $205,200 depending on experience and location.
