Registered Nurse (RN) Radiology (Full Time Days) in Livingston, New Jersey at RWJBarnabas Health

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Summary
Radiology RN works closely with Radiology Technical staff to ensure patient safety during all radiology testing. Rotates to different radiology modalities to perform specific procedures in Intervention Radiology, CAT Scan, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound and MRI.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Minimum 1–2 years experience as an RN in an acute care setting
• Graduate from an accredited school or university
• Bachelor’s degree
• Successful completion of all Orientation Programs

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Current Registered Nurse License in the state of New Jersey
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
• Certifications as required by law stature and or regulation for area or specialization
• PALS from the American Heart Association

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full-Time
• Day Shift
• Monday - Friday
• No weekend requirements
• Minimal holiday coverage
• 8:30am - 4:30pm

Essential Functions:
Radiology RN to participate in IR procedures in the radiology department, monitor sedation, start IV, cath patients.
