Job Description

Description:

The ideal candidate will have strong experience across multiple trades, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, preventative maintenance, and general building repairs. This position requires a proactive problem solver who is technically savvy, detail-oriented, and able to respond effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections throughout the property
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and general building systems
  • Respond to maintenance requests and emergency service calls in a timely manner
  • Maintain guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and exterior grounds
  • Monitor and maintain pool systems and chemical levels
  • Identify operational issues before they become major failures
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, PM schedules, and work orders
  • Maintain parts inventory
  • Assist with vendor coordination and outside contractors when needed
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards and local codes
  • Support renovation projects, equipment installations, and facility improvements
  • Utilize maintenance software and technology systems effectively
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in hotel, commercial, apartment, or facility maintenance
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • Electrical troubleshooting
    • Plumbing systems
    • HVAC systems
    • Mechanical equipment
    • General building maintenance
  • Pool certification – OCCHD certified within 60 days
  • EPA certification
  • Ability to work with hand and power tools safely
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs
  • Ability to troubleshoot independently and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable with multiple technologies
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency calls as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in indoor/outdoor environments
