Kids Camp Supervisor at Cottonwood Heights Parks and Recreation Service – Cottonwood Height, Utah

PARKS AND REC KIDS’ CAMP SUPERVISOR

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Non-seasonal, part-time, flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. No benefits.

SALARY: $12.50-$13.13/HR DOE

1. Must be at least 16 years old.
2. Ability to work outdoors.
3. Supervisory experience preferred.
4. Good communication and public relations skills.
5. Strong Problem solving skills.
6. Dependable, responsible, patient and cooperative.
7. Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude towards participants and patrons.
8. Good with children, leading and participating in various sporting activities, swimming and ice-skating.
9. Must possess a current American Red Cross First-Aid Certification; or be willing to obtain one, within 30 days of hire date.

1. Set up and takedown of camp areas
2. Check-in participants and communicate with guardians
3. Supervise, participate and monitor all activities
4. Enforce established safety rules and policies.
5. Handle accidents appropriately; apply necessary first aid and complete accident reports.
6. Assist kids camp employees as necessary.
7. Assist in keeping park and playing areas clean and presentable.
8. Communicate with Recreation and Fitness Coordinators as necessary.
