Assistant Manager, Thrift Shop at Shore Medical Center – Somers Point, New Jersey

Position Summary
The Assistant Thrift shop Manager at the thrift shop collaborates with the Thrift Shop Manager and in the manager’s absence, assumes responsibility for the daily operations of both locations.

Minimum Requirements
• High School Graduate/GED / Equivalent Work Experience
• 2 years of retail work experience
• Must possess a working knowledge of record maintenance, inventory control, and retail bookkeeping
• Ability to work with Volunteer Staff
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, and empty the donation bin which entails lifting, pushing and pulling.
• Ability to work varied locations and varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
