About This Position

Job Overview:

The Manager is responsible for the outpatient transport functions and programs to include, but not limited to Uber Health. The Manager will be responsible for efficiencies, streamlining processes and workflows associated with transport of patients needing a ride to and from the hospital and associated programs.This is a grant-funded position until 2025 year end with a strong possibility of future extensions.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum two years' relevant experience in customer service/client facing role(s)
  • Valid and Clean Driver License

Essential Functions:

  • The position's primary responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Streamline and improving the transportation processes and workflows for patients needing a ride to and from the hospital and associated programs.
  • Manage FTEs associated with and assigned to the program/department including operational, fiscal and financial responsibility.
  • Work with patients and clinical teams to ensure efficient and safe transport is provided for patients
  • Ensure RWJBH vehicles assigned to transport are maintained and operated in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Promote transportation options and increase awareness of the program through outreach with NBIMC's network of community partners
  • Collect, manage, and report on data pertaining to program services and patients such as demographics, number of individual served, number of rides, types of ride services accessed and rendered, etc.
  • Ensure any grant funded deliverables are collected, monitored and satisfied to fulfill the approved grant deliverable requirements.
  • Maintain required credentials (i.e., driver license) up to date and in good standing. Report any discrepancies to assigned supervisor (e.g., vehicle issues, vehicle insurance, driver license etc.).
  • Participate in program service evaluation activities, which may include patient/participant surveys, and service provider surveys.
  • Attend and participate in any trainings as needed or required.
  • Proactively follow up on any identified opportunities, concerns and/or issues as a means to improve the program service
  • Escalate any issues, concerns, and opportunities to appropriate stakeholders
