Qualifications:

The chief MRI technologist is responsible for the oversight of 5 magnets in the Imaging Department and Breast Center and a staff of 23 MRI technologists. This includes ensuring patient and employee safety, compliance with all regulatory bodies, maintenance of equipment, conducting employee training and competencies, communication and collaboration with radiologists and other departments in imaging, conduct annual performance appraisals, provide disciplinary action if necessary, lead staffing rounding and huddles. The chief MRI technologist also works with the Director of Imaging to track KPIs, order supplies, create and monitor staffing models to adjust for departmental needs, address EPIC WQs. This position is essential to the operation of this department and to ensure patient safety, patient satisfaction, optimal productivity and growth, and employee satisfaction and retention,

Required:

• Graduate from Radiology school.
• Minimum of three (3) years experience in supervisory position.

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• ARRT and/or NMTC certified
• Maintains required BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider course completion status.
