Grocery Associate- Ocean Township at Green's Natural Foods – Ocean, New Jersey

We are seeking a passionate and reliable Grocery Associate to join our team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of our organic grocery department by stocking shelves, assisting customers, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the availability of natural, organic, and sustainable products. Youll help promote healthy living and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Stock, rotate, and face shelves with certified organic, natural, and non-GMO products
* Educate customers on organic products and assist with locating items
* Maintain clean, organized, and well-presented displays and aisles
* Ensure accurate pricing and signage on all grocery items
* Monitor inventory levels and report restocking needs to management
* Comply with all store procedures regarding food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
* Assist in unloading deliveries and organizing back stock areas
* Collaborate with other departments to support storewide cleanliness and service goals

Qualifications:
* Must be 18 years of age or older
* Interest in organic and natural foods preferred
* Prior grocery or retail experience is helpful, but not required
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Must be dependable, team-oriented, and flexible with scheduling (including weekends and holidays)
