JOB RELATIONSHIPS
- Reports to Pharmacy Managers

DEFINITION OF POSITION
- A Pharmacist is responsible for performance or supervision of various aspects of the medication use sytem: acquisition, preparation, distribution, monitoring, administration, and billing.

QUALIFICATIONS
-
Professional
- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
- Licensed and registered as a Pharmacist by the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy
- Prefer: six months experience as a pharmacist in an acute care setting or successful completion of accredited residency in health-system pharmacy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer skills including keyboard data entry and Windows-based software navigation
- Basic office equipment skills including use of calculator, telephone, printer, & fax machine
