Delivery Driver (Rx & Medical Equipment) at Burke's Main Street Pharmacy – Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

Burke's Pharmacy has an open position in Hilton Head Island for a Driver. This position will be a Hybrid Rx delivery and medical equipment delivery. This position will require lifting and carrying of medical equipment incluing larger items like lift chairs and hospital beds (both would be in pieces). Posibility for Full time also available.

This position is in a busy, retail, non-participating provider environment and is heavily customer service oriented, with a necessity of a always positive attitude and outlook on life.

Responsibilities will include delivery and pick-up of medical equipment and delivery of medications. Along with repairs, cleaning and inventory management. Requires the ability to lift large and heavy items alone. Moving experience is a huge plus. Ability to use tools such as ramps, ratchet straps and dolly's is also a necessity. Clean driving record and back-round check required.

Additional responsibilities you will learn when not on the truck are: Patient and order intake, scheduling, customer service, fitting, inventory, special projects and planning.

Preferences include knowledge of DME software and operation with special preference of EZRent, Cloud of Goods and other Medical Equipment Rental and sales management software.

This position requires open availability to work Monday - Saturday with overtime available. The leading candidate(s) for this job will be willing to work most Saturdays.

Bilingual preferred.

Requirements include:
-Desire to be in the medical setting.
-2 years of customer service experience.
-Drivers license with clean driving record.
-Ability to pass drug test and background screening

Required education: High School Diploma
Preferred experience: ***DME 1 YEAR**
