Job Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Cruise Travel Expert to join our remote travel sales and support team. In this role, you will assist clients in planning and booking cruise vacations that meet their individual preferences, budget, and travel goals. This position requires in-depth knowledge of cruise lines, destinations, and onboard experiences, along with strong customer service and consultative sales skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on cruise options, itineraries, promotions, and packages across multiple cruise lines

• Handle all aspects of cruise booking, including cabin selection, upgrades, excursions, and dining preferences

• Provide accurate and current information on passport/visa requirements, safety guidelines, and travel insurance options

• Resolve booking issues, itinerary changes, cancellations, and special accommodation requests

• Upsell pre- and post-cruise services such as flights, transfers, hotels, and travel insurance

• Maintain detailed client records and build long-term relationships through personalized service

• Stay updated on cruise industry trends, new ships, and promotional offers

• Work closely with cruise line partners and internal team members to secure the best experiences for clients

• Track sales performance and meet monthly revenue or booking goals

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in cruise travel sales or customer service within the travel industry

• Strong working knowledge of major cruise lines (e.g., Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Norwegian, Celebrity, Princess, etc.)

• Familiarity with booking platforms such as Sabre, Amadeus, or direct cruise line portals

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

• Customer-focused mindset with a consultative approach to sales

• High school diploma or equivalent required; certifications in travel or cruise specialization (e.g., CLIA ACC or MCC) are a plus
