Red Shirt - Five Guys at Five Star North America – Lanse, Michigan

The Red Shirt is responsible for assisting the Management Team in all operations, financial performance, safety, quality control and staff management

Responsibilities

Operate Five Guys equipment, tomato slicer, potato cutter, meat press, and kitchen knives following all FG safety policies and procedures.

Prep and cook all Five Guys food per Five Guys Operations Manual\LMS system.

Wipe down tables, clean bathrooms, mop\sweep floors in kitchen, dining area, and back of house.

Interact with every customer, providing a genuine customer experience, per Five Guys standards.

Properly label all prepped items and put online and in cooler using FIFO (First In, First Out)

Keep front of house kitchen stocked for shift, and ready for the next shift.

Operate cash register, and monitor transactions including voids discounts, etc. While maintaining proper cash handling procedures.

Be able to operate 350-degree bun\burger grill safely.

Be able to operate 345 degree fryer.

Be able to operate hot holding unit up to 170 degrees.

Fill out time emperature log every two hours, along with maintain sanitizer buckets.

Able to lift up to 50lbs, and work on feet for extended periods of time.
